The BMEP Programme enables the user to calculate the BMEP for an engine given the swept volume, number of cylinders, power output and engine speed.

Example
Suppose you have an engine with a capacity of 49.75 cc that has a power output of 17.8 bhp at 14,000 revs/min.
Now within the Dimensions box, enter 49.75 for the Swept Volume, hit the tab key then enter 17.8 for the Power, hit the tab key again and enter 14000. Hit the calculate button. The answer is then calculated as 11.45 bar
